Nothing better than a little old fashioned Victorian corsetry.  Picked up the old needle and thread and fired up the old sewing machine and ready to revisit my roots in historical costume. 

Project #1: 24 boned corset patterned from a Victorian original.  It fits.  And actually - it ain't that uncomfortable either.

Paris, day 1

 La Tour Eiffel!  The inspiration, and finally I get to see it in person!
Spent the afternoon at the Museum of Decorative arts at the Louve.  The Art Nouveau Jewelry is so beautiful it makes me cry.  The largest collection of Lalique I've ever seen at one time.  Man, I was so born in the wrong time period!
